As a Robotics Application Development Intern, you will work with the R&D Robotics Application Development Team. The Team is responsible for developing applications used for simulation of industrial robots.
You will work with developers to create and implement new programming interfaces for our partners and customers to customize and access our robotics application components. You will write automated testing components and scripts to test the interfaces and document them.
This is a paid internship available for 12 weeks in May – August 2020. You will be working in the Dassault Systèmes office located on 900 North Squirrel Road, Suite 100, Auburn Hills, MI 48326.

What will your role be?
Creating new programming interfaces for Robotics Simulation Applications using EKL (Enterprise Knowledge Language) and write scripts to validate them
Performing software performance tests, debug and delivering solution to improve the performance
Implementing batch programs and scripts for Automated testing
Collaborating with Development Engineers to achieve the objectives and team goals
Presenting your work to the Team, demonstrating your contribution to the success of the Team
Your key success factors
Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree within Engineering or Computer Science
Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
Able to work onsite in the Auburn Hills office and available to work full-time (40 hours / week) for the duration of the internship
Well-developed coding skills in C++ or another object oriented programming language
Experience with 3D CAD or Robotics simulation software is preferred
Adopt and develop best practices and navigate around obstacles creatively
