Title Recorder will analyze and evaluate records on title for land, homes, and other buildings to ensure that all parties have signed the deeds listed and that the title to a property is free and clear of restrictions. Must love working in a fast paced environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Examine deeds of trust and ensure that all parties have signed and initialed are areas of document
- Verify that All deeds have been completed correctly ensuring legal description and that the names match vesting
- Ensure recordings are in proper order
- Ensure Notary section is complete
- Meet and exceed the needs of our office by completing the specific tasks associated with the Title Recording position and assisting others with their duties whenever possible
Qualifications:
- At least one year of title experience and High School degree
- Able to follow all company procedures and policies including meeting the company customer service expectations
- Strong research and investigative skills
- Knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, legal documents, and real property law a plus
- Accurate data entry
