Data entry, manage on time performance requirements utilizing operating system updates for in transit check calls and proactive actions (assist in re-power, rescheduling delivery appointments) to insure compliance to customer performance standards. Insure that shipment tenders are accurate and complete from start to billing submission.
Insure the accurate pricing of all "rate quotes" (contract, tariff and spot market) is accurate and consistent with established company policy and that applicable accessory charges including current applicable fuel surcharge have been correctly applied.
Insure the complete execution of customer requests are achieved by monitoring the transaction thru completion notifying manager immediately of any non compliance.
Help manage fleet and attend safety meetings virtually. (Two annually required)
Work experience preferably with a trucking company that operates an owner operator and agent based business model. Work history must included knowledge of transport service standards, application as well as development of pricing (contract, tariff, spot market) applicable to platform (legal and oversized) truckload and less-than-truckload shipments.
Must be able to obtain security clearance so clean record is a must.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient in the use of business hardware, software including a working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Possess the ability to effectively negotiate a mutually satisfactory compromise.
Practical working knowledge of state/provincial geographical locations in North America.
Comprehensive knowledge of transportation regulations (state and federal) pertaining to the movement of interstate highway shipments, both legal and oversize, by motor carrier.
Fundamental understanding of FMCSA safety regulations and the associated effects to motor carrier operations.
