ROLE of the POSITION
The individual in this position needs to possess advanced data analysis and problem-solving skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, and the ability to successfully multitask on multiple projects simultaneously. This position reports to the Executive Director of Graduate Systems & Operations as part of the Systems and Data team in the Graduate College.
This position will be responsible for:
- Administration of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Managing communications with a strong emphasis on data integrity and hygiene
- Implementation and development of multi-channel marketing strategies
- Integrating CRM and 3rd party applications for communication purposes
- Creating and maintaining data sets for targeted messaging
- Translating business flows into systems strategies using automations and journeys
- Developing documentation outlining business processes and guidelines
- Developing and maintaining user access and permission sets in Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Maintaining a database of subscribers and publication lists to ensure accurate messaging and population segmentation
- Creating and maintaining workflows and processes
- Managing data imports, integrations, and database cleanup
- Creating and maintaining campaigns, registration pages, and related communications
- Providing customer support to students, staff, and faculty
Education: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university. A Master’s degree in one of these areas is preferred. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
Experience: 1-3 years of related professional experience. Administrative expertise with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other similar CRM products/platforms is required. Salesforce Administrator and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certifications preferred. A record of successful systems/project management and experience within a university setting would be preferred.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
