Northpointe Council, Inc. is hiring a full-time (35 hours/week) Counselor for the Methadone Clinic.
Methadone Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Our mission at Northpointe Council, Inc. is to provide high-quality person-centered prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery to those affected by substance use disorders and other addictions from the Greater Niagara Area.
Seeking candidates who are empathetic and passionate about helping others on their path to recovery. Job duties include providing individual and group therapy to individuals and families that are coping with concerns related to substance use.
Required Experience:
Prefer two (2) years paid full time experience in a mental health or substance use disorders setting OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Educational Requirements:
Prefer Master's Degree (M.A. /M.S.) or equivalent in Counseling, Social Work or Rehabilitation Counseling.
Licensure or Certification Requirements:
Prefer Qualified Health Professional (QHP) as defined by New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) regulation.
