Manages equity partner accounting including all work related to draw activity; year-end distribution and tax packages and capital accounts. Prepares the annual Retired Partners’ benefit calculations
Prepares the Firm’s financial reports as well as monthly and annual financial packages. Prepares management financial reports for offices, departments and practice groups. Prepares custom management reports and analysis
Participates in the Firm audit and tax preparation process. Prepares quarterly and annual audit and tax schedules for the Firm’s accounting auditors. Provides information for annual audit
Handles calculations related to income partner and counsel variable and additional compensation in compliance with contracts
Participates in annual budget process. Assists Finance Director in all aspects of budget process
Prepares monthly Borrowing Base calculations and reports
Prepares profitability analyses by segments
Prepares pro forma projections for lateral partners and groups
Manages the Financial Analyst and Accounts Payable Clerks.
Provides training, evaluation, feedback and work oversight
Bachelor’s degree required; Finance or Accounting degree preferred; MBA or CPA preferred.
3 7 years of direct related experience required
PC Law Experience a plus
Law firm experience preferred; will consider professional business service experience as well.
