Remote, Contract with FT/Long-term potential
Are you an experienced Conference Producer (NOT a meeting planner, NOT an event coordinator) who knows how to assemble the CONTENT, SPEAKERS, AND ATTENDEES for a business-to-business conference?
Have you worked for an association, a trade show or conference company, or a publication to build a conference program from scratch? Can you research an industry, understand its needs, identify key players, build an audience, and create a unique, must-attend, live B2B program?
Have you held the title Conference Producer, Content Manager, Program Director, Editor, Writer, Researcher, or Journalist (or can tell us why you could have)?
Can you nimbly and quickly grasp a business sector that's new to you, embrace its issues, become an expert in its concerns, and seek out its thought leaders? Are you driven to create new places for business interaction that didn’t exist before? Are you comfortable speaking persuasively to recruit attendees and presenters?
Do you possess a journalist’s curiosity, an inventor’s drive to create, a salesperson’s persuasiveness, and an entrepreneur’s desire to make things happen? Can you write with confidence and clarity to sell your event to the participants?
Have you worked at an association, a trade show company like Reed, Informa, or Emerald, or a conference company like IIR, IQPC, AMA, or WRG?
If the answer to all of those questions is 'yes,' then this position could be just what you’re looking for.
