Senior HVAC Installer

Carson Mechanical with 30+ years in Commercial and Residential HVAC service has an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Journeyman Installer.
Position Summary: To install commercial and residential heating and air conditioning systems to high standards, providing the customer with a high-quality experience.
- Install Commercial roof top, mini split and residential systems.
- Install commercial TI projects with ducts, curb etc.
- Install Commercial Kitchen hoods, MUA and grease duct installation
- Single phase and three phase electrical knowledge
- Must be able to read drawings, create material list
- Ability to lead a team for installation & completion of projects.
- Ability to lead by example and develop a teamwork atmosphere and train new installers
- Ability to measure, detail and fabricate sheet metal and duct fittings as required.
- Ability to perform quality brazing and welding.
- Ability to estimate required install times and finish quality installations within the estimated time.
- Knowledge of applicable mechanical & electrical codes, Quality Control
- Participate in startup, progress, completion & lessons learned project meetings
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with customers, managers, and co-workers.
- Work in attics, crawl spaces, hot and cold environments, lift up to 85 lbs.
- 3+ years experience in commercial HVAC, restaurant hood, grease duct and fire wrap installation.
Required Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Must have at least 5 years experience
Must pass background check

Required education:
High school or equivalent
1 Year of HVAC School education preferred
EPA Certifications
Required experience:
5 year min. Field Experience as lead commercial HVAC installer

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
