Job Summary:

A successful Collateral Audit Specialist supports our corporate goals and policies while delivering a positive customer experience to our Dealer partners. You will be responsible for evaluating the audit findings and will work with the relevant Dealer and Kinetic Advantage teams to swiftly communicate audit findings, performance concerns, and assist in determining actions plans where necessary. You will also be responsible for contacting vendors to facilitate the successful reconciliation of the Dealer’s inventory audit; examples include auto auctions, service providers, finance companies and transportation providers to confirm the status of the floorplanned units. This role is integral to the success of our portfolio management process.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Foster healthy relationships between Kinetic Advantage and dealers by assisting in clearing collateral audits
  • Communicate daily with dealers, dealer vendors, Kinetic Advantage internal teammates to reconcile dealer floorplan audits in

a timely manner

  • Coach dealers on how to improve their audit performance to maintain proper compliance
  • Identify and escalate risk concerns regarding dealers’ collateral audits, dealer vendor services, auditing vendor, etc.
  • Apply experience and lessons-learned to create or modify work methods related to collateral audit reconciliation and the

overall dealer experience

  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to multitask, work efficiently, and prioritize
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills including the ability to ask probing questions to deeply understand the needs of our dealer

partners

  • Participate in the training and ongoing education of new and existing teammates drive our team’s growth and development
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Education and Experience:

  • One (1) or more years of relevant experience required
  • At least one (1) year of collection experience preferred
  • Some post high school course work in related field is preferred
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Familiarity with concepts, procedures and processes typically used in automotive and financial services industries
  • Preparation or review of documents and reports using Microsoft Office based products, Customer Relationship Management

(CRM) tools and internal work queues are major components of the position

  • Strong desire to elevate relationships and be vision-driven through problem solving
  • Good organizational, clerical, and verbal communication skills
  • Telephone, computer literacy, software competencies, specifically standard or custom financial systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Motor vehicle operator (required); notary (desired)

  • Ability to read and understand basic financial statements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Strong sense of urgency, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Ability to effectively develop and maintain strong business relationships
  • Strong presentation, written communication, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to communicate clearly
  • Ability to operate computer and office equipment, maintain paper files, and move about an office environment
  • Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state,

and local standards
