Clinical Research Supervisor – Fayetteville, AR


The clinical manager oversees the research staff, ensuring all department and policies are being followed, while also managing any personnel issues that arise.


  • Manage day to day operation of the research department to ensure an efficient and effective department.
  • Supervise staff members; act as back-up when necessary.
  • Must learn and be proficient in the use of the practice EMR and practice management programs.
  • Assess employee performance
  • Coordinate the Monday morning research meeting
  • Oversee Quality Assurance for the department
  • Assist the floor coordinator when needed
  • Monitor work/patient flow between the departments
  • Act as a resource to hospital and clinic personnel/physicians regarding research activity


  • Licensed nurse, preferably BSN
  • Ability to manage staff in order to maximize workflow and productivity
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with research staff and other team members throughout the organization
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • In depth oncology and/or clinical research knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology
  • Phlebotomy and ECG experience preferred, but not necessary
  • Able to multi task, perform many different tasks throughout the day
  • Able to remain calm and display flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced environment.
  • Light lifting, bending, reaching and carrying of supplies. Must be able to sit for periods of time.


  • Licensed nurse, preferably BSN
  • 4 – 6 years of related management experience preferred. A proven track record of working effectively with staff and physicians.


  • May be asked to lift up to 20 pounds. Lifting could include binders, reams of paper and office supplies.
  • May be required to help move study supplies received in the pharmacy to the research office.
  • May be required to transport study drug or lab kits between the Fayetteville and Rogers facilities.

Job Type: Full-time
