SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Working under the supervision of the President or designee, individuals in this position are responsible for managing the organizations client services components. Focus in this area is on developing and maintaining positive relationships by predicting, planning, and responding to client needs. Incumbents will be accountable for aspects of client services before, during and after the home building process.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as company lead customer/client contact representative and advocate
  • Performs client relationship management (CRM) activities such as on-site and in-office orientations, selections, and settlements
  • Responds to and updates customers regarding project status, change orders, product information, and warranty service / quality assurance issues
  • Prepares written correspondence, reports, and orders
  • Prepares building permits, performs plan reviews and document management to ensure client specifications are being met
  • Creates reports, outlines findings and any resolution / mitigation measures
  • Works closely with senior management to identify and troubleshoot actual as well as potential issues negatively impacting production schedules, quality or client services
  • Receives, reviews, schedules and supports warranty service activities
  • Creates and maintains accurate and concise documentation of activities and events
  • Creates, maintains, modifies, updates, and adheres to schedules
  • Liaisons with building code officials to facilitate building permit processing
  • Monitors performance and policy adherence through constant communication with company personnel and management
  • May serve as outside sales representative
  • Attends meetings, events and activities serving as company representative
  • Performs related work as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION

  • Basic knowledge of construction materials, methods and terminology
  • Basic knowledge of real estate principles and practices
  • Ability to read and understand residential and light commercial building plans
  • Skill in dealing with people of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Skill in PC functions as well as office productivity applications (ex. MS Office)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years experience in customer service position with high level of autonomy
  • 2 years residential construction or real estate experience preferred (supplier, trades or administrative)
  • Possession of valid motor vehicle operator’s license
  • Any combination of knowledge, skills, or education which demonstrates competency in required areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
