Enterprise Finance & Information Technology offers technology and services that exceed Wells Fargo customers’ expectations and directly enable them to succeed financially. We interact with customers more than 12 billion times a year through in-store, online, ATM, and telephone transactions. We impact customers directly, through systems availability and security, as well as indirectly, through our business partners who offer and deliver a myriad of products and services that meet customers’ financial needs. Consults with management and business partners on matters of significance regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for the applicable business functions. Such
consultation includes discussion of alternatives and implications. Presents to executive management on business performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements. Utilizes thorough knowledge of the LOB’s or business group’s functional area or products to support and drive strategic initiatives for the business. Provides work direction to lower level staff. Leads support functions and/or operations/production oversight usually for multiple business groups for a Line of Business or for a significantly diverse and complex business group within a Line of
Business. Functions supported may include: policy/procedure administration and adherence, systems/change initiatives, business continuity planning, legal and regulatory adherence, SLA negotiation/development, reporting and analysis, project funding, pipeline, process improvement, quality management (example: may include negotiation of SLA and QA program across multiple LOBs), MBO development, communications, financial control/budgeting oversight (example: monitoring business expenses) and/or team member processing (example: planning focal review). Works with business partners to identify requirements, design alternatives, project schedules, to relocate existing infrastructure through Core and Regional data centers. Participates in planning and directing program schedules, monitoring project status in comparison to project time lines. Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and identifies risk, significant issue tracking, and communication at the team level. May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiency.
- 8+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services
- 5 + years of technology project management experience
- 3+ years of customer relationship management experience
- Data center experience
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong negotiating skills
Other Desired Qualifications
- 2+ Years experience w/ Repository Data Base
- 2+ Years experience w/ Service Life Extension Program
- Technical understanding of data center infrastructure hardware technologies (Virtual Host Environments, F5, Infobox, DataPower, Storage Arrays, switches, etc.)
- Ability to work outside of regular business hours
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
AZ-Chandler: Min: $91,700 Mid: $131,000
NC-Charlotte: Min: $91,700 Mid: $131,000
IA-West Des Moines: Min: $91,700 Mid: $131,000
