BUILDING AND GROUNDS TECHNICIAN – Parks, Recreation, Facilities and Grounds Department. Performs preventive maintenance for mechanical systems and building, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical repairs. Position also performs light janitorial duties including general building and grounds custodial and mowing/trimming grass, weeds and removing trees and brush. Must be able to pass fingerprint background check.
BUILDING MAINTENANCE ENGINEER – La Crosse Center. Performs preventive maintenance for mechanical systems and building, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical repairs. Position also performs duties of Lead Janitor including general building and grounds custodial, snow removal and directing casual staff. Qualifications include vocational/technical training in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building construction, three years general building maintenance experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
Experience required! $20.36 – $23.31/hour DOQ with comprehensive benefit package.
