What You Will Do:
Supports Security Service Federal Credit Union in becoming “America’s Best” by providing superior service, educating the member on how to reach their financial goals and supporting a team environment at the branch. Promotes and sells new member accounts while ensuring members and potential members receive appropriate products and services to meet their needs. Supports SSFCU’s sales efforts by meeting all established sales goals, possessing thorough knowledge of SSFCU products and services, proactively identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and educating members on self-service options to expand member relationships. Assists internal/external members in an enthusiastic, courteous and professional manner by providing solutions, resolving issues, folowing up and creating a positive member experience. Processes member requests in a timely and accurate manner within all applicable policies and procedures. Follows SSFCU policies and procedures by providing cross-functional responsibilities in both a teller and member service capacity. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

What We Require:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year of Member Service or Cash Operations or comparable experience in cash handling, customer service or sales. For internal applicants, refer to the “Member Service Career Path”. Good communication skills and professional demeanor with ability to speak to internal and external customers and process their requests in a confidential manner. Basic computer skills to send and respond to email messages, search for information on internal intranet, and utilizes electronic resources and equipment. Able to work some overtime as determined by business needs. Adapts to changing work environments, work priorities and organizational needs. Able to work in a fast-paced sales and transactions environment while multi-tasking and Considers all pertinent facts and alternatives before deciding on the most appropriate action to include knowing when, based on policy or member needs, to escalate. Ability to foster a teamwork attitude to ensure all credit union goals and objectives are achieved.
