This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related
responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary.

Assists management with the supervision of Associates in the Bakery by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, teaching and ensuring
compliance with Company policies and procedures, supporting the Open Door Policy, and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting,
coaching, and evaluating Associates.
Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift
spotting procedures, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines,
and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management.
Maintains the Sales Floor in area of responsibility in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns,
zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods,
signing and pricing merchandise appropriately, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving
issues and concerns, and promoting the Company’s products and services.
Receives and stocks merchandise in the Bakery area, and organizes and maintains Bakery area by following Company procedures, utilizing
equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
Performs audits and completes audit reports by counting merchandise, researching variances or discrepancies, identifying and accounting for shrink
or overages, and adjusting inventory counts.
Follows Company policies and procedures for preparing, handling, packaging, labeling, and storing food, operating and sanitizing food-related
equipment, stocking and displaying food products, and maintaining and cleaning the Fresh Department.
Cleans the Bakery area as needed during the course of normal production work (for example, work surfaces, windows, mirrors, display cases and
coolers) while following Company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
Prepares Bakery Department merchandise (for example, baking products, cake decorating) based on daily production needs by operating Bakery
equipment, following recipes/make-up instructions, and properly wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise.

Leads Inventory Operations – Helps associates understand and apply safe and correct ways to handle, move, and display goods, and does the same
in own work. Carries out the inventory process to help improve replenishment and receiving and to reduce shrinkage. Identifies poor inventory
practices and low in-stock levels in assigned area, and reports them with ideas for corrective action. Demonstrates and helps others with the safe and
proper use and maintenance of inventory tools and equipment.
Enhance Experience in the Club – Supports the Club of the Community merchandising concept and suggests merchandise to Management that meets
the needs of local Members. Plans for Member service and sales based on events outside the Club (for example, weather, gas prices, local events).
Stays current on competitors prices, products, and displays to suggest to Management ways to improve the Club. Recommends ways to provide a
convenient, safe, and pleasant shopping experience for Members. Shows Associates how to address Member, merchandise, and Club issues.
Leads Fresh Operations – Helps Associates to safely and correctly handle, store, cook, and clean food, and sets an example through own work.
Identifies Members who need help and shares accurate information with them on Fresh items. Identifies ideas for how to improve Fresh products,
operations, and services (for example, taking/filling orders properly). Identifies problems with Fresh products, services, and work areas, and reports
them with ideas for corrective action. Ensures Fresh equipment supplies are clean and working properly and logs are maintained correctly, and uses
these practices in own work.
Customer/Member Centered: Satisfy the Customer/Member – Uses information and feedback to determine customer/member expectations. Works
with others to exceed customer/member expectations. Seeks out ways to improve customer/member service. Teaches others how to find and use
resources to respond to customer/member requests.
Planning and Improvement: Plan for and Improve Team Performance – Plans work based on business priorities and explains to others what is needed
to get work done. Identifies and oversees the tasks needed to reach goals. Looks for and suggests ways to improve performance and results.
