Analog Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer
Job Responsibilities

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Establish design requirements and provide system-level architectural overview
  • Provide comparative analysis data and recommend specific architectural options
  • Lead design efforts to define, plan, implement and validate silicon
  • Develop and support state-of-the-art design practices to minimize performance and schedule risk
  • Architect and design circuits for ADC, DAC, amplifier, clocking and/or power management and direct layout to ensure performance
  • Prepare documentation and conduct system and circuit-level design reviews
  • Drive a continuous improvement philosophy to improve design quality and efficiency



  • 10+ years as a mixed-signal/analog IC designer. Has at least 3 full-mask chips tape out experience.
  • Practical experience in automotive IC design. Knowledge on automotive chip’s design and qualification.
  • Experience with complete product life-cycle from concept phase and architectural proposal to failure analysis and yield improvement
  • Knowledge of fabrication process technology
  • Proficiency with Cadence ADE, Specter simulator and Caliber LVS/DRC tools
  • Previous chip lead experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts toppers in verbal and written form
  • Knowledge of board design best practices
  • Experience in design and operation of latch-up and ESD circuitry and ensuring long-term reliability of the design
