Accountant – Fixed Assets

Position Highlights:
Under general supervision, the Accountant – Fixed Assets is responsible for moderately complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities:
Complete the daily tracking of capital projects accounts payables
Process capital invoices payments.
Process lease payments.
Resolve issues associated with Leases Management and Accounts Payable.
Prepare monthly journal entries.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned
Reconciles general ledger accounts
Prepare reconciliations for select general ledger accounts
Research/correct reconciling items each month
Customer Service
Answer inquiries from departments
Responses are pleasant in tone and manner

Position Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Good interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Two years’ experience preferred.
